From my own experience, it is a joy for a life time…not just for the kids who have learned how to play piano, but the people around. However, one important reminder is that you must be very careful about the kids eye-sight. My boy is near-sighted when he was 6 years. He started playing when he was 4 and spent lots of time. Reading piano music is quite tiring for young kids eyes. I suggest you provide adequate lighting when your kids are playing music. There are very good piano lamp or piano light you can find for both illumination and DECORATION purposes. You can see examples on www.conocopianolamps.com and www.conocolighting.com as an examples. There are also other brands. These two web sites have very good grand piano lamp as well.Conoco Piano Lampshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00828709884602636329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6750916161395326257.post-29095561132293775892012-01-30T12:11:14.152-08:002012-01-30T12:11:14.152-08:00Love it, Melissa - thanks for those wonderful link...Love it, Melissa - thanks for those wonderful links to Leonhardt. Do you think in those short quotes he was trying to say "one must understand a phrase and its contextual importance before one sets fingers to keyboard"? Or something else?David Saslavhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08186990487845970465noreply@blogger.com
